Default question on some wep mods

hey just wondering which of these would be better -

vampiric 5/1 OR sundering 10/10

and

defence +5 OR fortitude +30

These would be for general use pvp/pve on a w/mo hammer and r/mo bow

and for the vampiric would it be worth the -energy gen from using mending to counter -health gen from vamp?

thanks

Vampiric and defense. Maaaybe the health over the defense if you expect to be getting hit with a lot of armor-ignoring damage or degen.

Don't bother with mending. Just use your weapon-set keys to switch to a non-vampiric weapon when you aren't hitting anything.

Vampiric is no-contest over sundering. On average damage over time, sundering calculates to 1% armor penetration overall, which is less than 1 damage per hit. Vamp is a constant +5 damage per hit, ignoring armor.

The Armor/Fortitude debate is still open, and in the end it's all situational. Fortitude is best against degen groups, and defense is best against physical/elemental spike damage groups.
